Those Who Call Down the Moon

Those who call down the moon once lived in the twin spires out on the wasted flats. Their eternal Queen lived atop the tallest spire. She whispered her incantations to the stars. She opened the way for her acolytes to bring down the power of the moon and return it to the dark sky once more. But like all ancients, those who call down the moon disappeared long ago.

Still, children and the old bring stories of movement out on the spires. Who would go there and why? Perhaps for valuable artifacts, just like in the other ruins farther west. And hasn't everyone grown up hearing folk tales of the Queen's eternal promise to reward those brave enough to set her free?

Those Who Call Down the Moon is a post-apocalyptic exploration adventure for use with the Cairn system by Yochai Gal. Additional rules for play can be found in the Gamma Mutant background. Recommended backgrounds include:
