The biggest surprise of the Apocalypse was that the world ended exactly like everyone thought it would. A flash of blinding light. Waves of violent radiation. Lingering biological contamination. And everything was gone.
But Life has a way of coming back, no matter how long it takes and no matter how much it changes. Pockets of mutated plants and animals reemerged into the blank canvas of the world. "People" survived as well, living on the terrifying edge of existence, transformed like the rest of the world.
How many years have passed since the Apocalypse? No one knows. But we have begun to look beyond the walls of our small communities. We crawl through the vast sprawl of ancient ruins, seeking to uncover and claim the secrets they hold. We wander the dangerous and unpredictable landscape, curious to know what is over the next hill and hoping to find our place in the world.
Gamma Mutant is a science-fantasy background for Cairn.

Whoa, pretty sure you could play a whole game with just this sheet and nothing else! And that illustration is really funny.
My mutant would never take that small snare drum out of its third hand.
Ha! I'm partial to the encyclopedia set. Heavy to carry but probably worth the knowledge available in the long run.
