Recruiting
The maximum STR available for new detachments is equal to the current STR of the population that characters are attempting to recruit from. DEX and WIL are the same as the population. Roll d6 for HP, adjust as needed based on the fiction.

Combining
Damage and Armor are only as good as the lowest quality weapons and armor in the newly combined group. Better armaments can be purchased for the portion of the detachment that needs them.
